There was a shortage of water supply in East Africa, especially in rural areas, and the drought in 2021/22 made the problem even worse. As a result, many domestic animals have died due to lack of water, and pastoralists and farmers have been forced to leave their homes and migrate.
Migration caused by drought and water scarcity in the area has created a social crisis. Children and youths could not continue their education; farmers could not continue their usual jobs and pastoralists lost many of their animals.
Drilling of water wells, construction of water filtration and storage, and construction of water transmission lines are among the main water development activities that our company intends to carry out in selected rural areas in East Africa.
Therefore, we need the unstinted support and cooperation of various organizations, governments, and aid agencies in our work to save the lives of the communities that are suffering from water shortages in East Africa.
